For decades the BLM has failed to implement its management requirements, with the result being severely degraded streams, springs and seeps. In 1999 the allotment failed Rangeland Health Standards but the BLM failed to take effective actions. Now, more than a decade later the problems are worse and the allotment failed Standards again. This time WWP has provided a science-based, accountability-based alternative. If the BLM fails to comply with its own regulations again we will be ready to seek judicial review.
