Utah

WWP works statewide in Utah, with a particular emphasis on reining in abusive livestock grazing and protecting streams, riparian areas, and sage grouse habitats. We are a leader in defending Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monuments, and neighboring lands in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. WWP also is focusing on protecting the Pando Clone, an interconnected aspen grove that has been recognized as the world’s largest single organism, from abuse by the cattle that are currently causing the lion’s share of the damage and sapling suppression in Pando.
