Conservation Groups File Lawsuit to Prevent Energy Corridors and Protect Sensitive Lands and Wildlife

A coalition of conservation groups, including WWP, is challenging the failure of the federal government to adequately perform all environmental reviews in designating the West-wide Energy Corridors across nearly 6,000 miles, including the Agencies’ failure to consider all reasonable alternatives and analyze the environmental consequences of the corridors at the programmatic level, in violation of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 and several federal environmental laws including the National Environmental Policy Act, Federal Land and Policy Management Act, and Endangered Species Act.
