Livestock grazing affects more public land than any other commercial use in the West and remains one of the leading causes of habitat degradation, stream damage, and biodiversity loss. Now, the Bureau of Land Management is proposing sweeping changes to its grazing regulations that could further tip the scales toward livestock interests and away from wildlife, clean water, and healthy public lands, all while drastically reducing public participation.
During the webinar, you’ll hear from Josh Osher, Policy Director for Western Watersheds Project and Lizzy Pennock, Carnivore Coexistence Attorney with WildEarth Guardians. Together, they’ll explain what the proposed rule changes would do, what it could mean for wildlife and public lands across the West, and how you can submit effective comments before the public comment period closes on July 13, 2026. Following the webinar, look below for your steps.
